What You'll Experience

Life On Trail

Knife's Edge is one of the Pacific Crest Trail's most unforgettable stretches — a high, narrow alpine ridgeline through Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness, with big views in every direction. This is a 2027 pilot, and Triple Crown Treks' most challenging trip yet: a real step up from our California (Beginner) and Oregon (Beginner+) treks into sustained, exposed high country. We're finalizing the exact route and daily plan now — what's certain is that the terrain is rugged, the scenery is extraordinary, and you'll have the same supportive TCT crew beside you the whole way.

        What “Advanced” Means Here

This is an Advanced trek — Triple Crown Treks' most physically demanding trip, and a clear step up from our California (Beginner) and Oregon (Beginner+) treks. “Advanced” describes the physical challenge and the terrain, not a required résumé: no prior backpacking or thru-hiking experience is required. Goat Rocks is high, rugged, and exposed, so plan to arrive with a strong fitness base and real preparation — regular cardio, back-to-back hiking days, and weighted pack walks with elevation in the months beforehand will make a big difference.

This is a 2027 pilot, so a few route details are still being finalized. We'll share a specific preparation guide, packing list, and the full plan with everyone who joins — and our guides will be with you every step of the way.

        “Trip”

I'm from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. I graduated in 2024 with a degree in Psychology and Spanish, and hiked the PCT immediately after graduation — it changed the trajectory of my life. Now I travel full-time and lead group trips, though my favorite endeavor by far is this one. My heart is happiest in the mountains, in good company.

I'm Triple Crown Treks' Social Media Manager and a guide. I grew up in Washington and am now based in Bend, Oregon, where the mountains, desert, and alpine trails truly feel like my backyard. My experience includes hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2024, the Camino de Santiago, France's GR54, and the Tour du Mont Blanc. I want everyone to feel confident, capable, and deeply connected to the trail.
