TCT is built on the community we find along the way — not just the miles. Whether you want to guide, show up for hikers on trail, or help us find the next great route, there's a way to get involved beyond booking a trek.
Become a Guide
Experienced backpackers and thru-hikers: help lead the next generation of TCT hikers onto the trail. We're always building our guide bench for future seasons. Guides must have completed all or most of the PCT and hold a current WFA certification or higher — see the minimum requirements on the application page.

Local to a trail we run near? Offer a ride, snacks, water, or a little encouragement to hikers on the move. Trail magic is part of what makes this community special.
